California Well-Being Conference
The California Well-Being Conference (CaWBC) will be a 3-day meeting hosted by UC Riverside in Spring 2026. Organized by Madison Montemayor-Dominguez and Stephen Cadieux under the supervision of Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky, CaWBC will focus broadly on furthering the science of well-being. The conference is open to faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars from colleges and universities across California. Furthermore, CaWBC will support the professional development of early-career researchers and promote collaboration among researchers throughout the state.
Dates: April 24 - 26, 2026
Location: University of California, Riverside in Riverside, CA

Call for Proposals
Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are invited to submit talk and poster proposals for the CaWBC! The submission portal will open on July 15, 2025, and the deadline to submit proposals is September 15, 2025.
The conference will focus on topics related to well-being in general, including Hispanic health and well-being, youth and adolescent well-being, interventions, social connection, emotion regulation, and applied well-being research. Proposals must include a positive psychological outcome or construct, such as a measure of subjective or eudaimonic well-being.
