Connecting with Faculty

Annual Events

  • UC Students of Color Conference: The University of California Student Association’s oldest and largest conference, provides a safe space for students of color to strategize around statewide and campus-based actions.
  • Cultural Awareness Project: A four week program with a two-hour workshop each week. Each workshop addresses different topics to build your cultural competence.
  • Common Ground Retreat : This leadership retreat brings students from varied backgrounds together to define points of connection and develop collective responses to issues affecting them at UCR. Students unite, create joint projects and continue to collaborate after the retreat is over.
