Support UCR Psychology

You can help UCR Psychology’s undergraduate and graduate student scholars by expanding programs, services, and opportunities. A gift to UCR Psychology can help us succeed in multiple ways in one or more of the following areas. Please make note of the fund to which to allocate your gift.

Graduate Research Award in Honor of Dr. Robert Rosenthal

Dr. Robert Rosenthal is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Psychology and a Professor of the Graduate Division at the University of California, Riverside.  Colleagues and former students from the UC Riverside Department of Psychology intend to recognize an outstanding graduate student with an annual research excellence award in honor of Dr. Rosenthal in appreciation of his mentorship and contributions to the field.

Undergraduate Education

UCR Psychology offers many undergraduate research opportunities in a wide variety of laboratories in the department. Your gift can help UCR Psychology undergraduate students to participate in and develop research projects by supporting fieldwork in the community, research awards and grants, and travel to research conferences. Your support will also contribute to the department’s ability to host workshops dedicated to undergraduate success, including career workshops and applying to graduate school.

Support Graduate Students

UCR Psychology offers exemplary research opportunities to our graduate student scholars; however, to compete for the best students in California and the US at large, we must offer competitive research fellowships and summer research funding, especially in the high-cost region of Southern California. Your support will also contribute to the support of original, independent research projects led by our graduate student scholars.

Help us attract the best students to our program and contribute to original and creative research that benefits our communities.

The Ross Parke Lecture Series

The annual Ross Parke Lecture Series brings to our UCR campus prominent scholars in the field of socioemotional development. The lecture series highlights recent advances in our understanding of children’s social and emotional development by inviting a nationally recognized scholar to deliver a lecture and discussion on a topic of their expertise.  Please consider a gift to support the annual event.
